Jessica Alba said she struggled to regain fitness after the birth of their daughter Honor Marie in June 2008. "It hurt and I cried a lot, I worked with my personal trainer three and a half months before I start shooting again, to lose almost 25 kg I had won," she recalled. "Breast-feeding helped, but I was back to work and my hormones were going crazy."The "Fantastic Four" actress, who is married to Cash Warren, said that motherhood has also made her learn how to apply makeup quickly. "My beauty regime has changed so much since becoming a mother," she said. "I've learnt to multi task and throw my look together in five minutes. I love make-up that I can apply with my finger tips, as it saves time."

Alba also shared she replaced the absence in the gym with other activities, she told, "I do not have time to go work out, but I do yoga at home, which is a good combination of cardio and stretching."

With a gory make-up that was made up to look beaten and bruised, Jessica Alba is alienated by the cast and crew during shoot her flick "The Killer Inside Me."

She shared, "(The shoot) was a couple of days. I was (emotionally) a complete mess. It was hot, and the latex (make-up) was hot. Nobody would talk to me; it made people around me really uncomfortable."

As for the movie's violent moment, Alba defended, saying, "It's the scene that tells you the most about her. She didn't hit back, she didn't fight, she just let him do it. There's no hands in the air, no blocking it. It's a really disturbing movie, a really disturbing character - but it's supposed to be. It's supposed to be awful... I felt she had a death wish, because she was always egging him on and provoking him. She finally found a man who was man enough to go through with it."
